Welcome to a New Year!

We hope that you all had a relaxing holiday season, a great start to 2025, and are ready for all the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of us.

 As we embark on another exciting year, we want to take a moment to celebrate the diversity that each of you brings to our university community. Your unique perspectives and experiences enrich the campus and contribute to a vibrant environment. Furthermore, diversity fosters innovation and drives impactful results.

To celebrate our diverse community, we would like to invite you to join our upcoming Cultural Potluck on 27 February.

It will be a delightful evening with wonderful company. Each participant/family will bring a dish that represents their cultural heritage or a favorite recipe from home. It will be a chance to showcase your culinary skills and introduce others to the flavours and traditions that are special to you.

Both Danish and international staff members as well as PhD students and their families are welcome to attend.

 

We have also planned several informal lunch events this spring. Join us on 13 February and 13 March at AAU’s Innovate’s Foodhub. At these social meet-up lunch events, you will have the opportunity to share experiences and challenges and network with colleagues from across the university.

 

Moreover, in the coming months, we will continue with our AAU+1 events. If you have a colleague, who has recently moved to Denmark with a spouse or a partner, we would appreciate if you spread the word about the possibility of joining our AAU+1 spouse and partner network. Additionally, we would also like to take this opportunity to promote International House North Denmark’s events. See their events registration page for more information.
